Retreat Activities. Our retreat activity presenter will be Amanda Pitchford-Madrid, Chaplain, Ph.D.(c), MSN RN. Amanda is an 8th-year lead faculty member at California Baptist University College of Nursing. She received a Bachelor's degree at California Baptist University, a Master's degree in nursing at Grand Canyon University with an emphasis on Public Health.
Amanda is currently a Labor and Delivery Nurse & doctoral candidate at Loma Linda University where she is researching perinatal care in the community-based setting. As a chaplain, she is committed to creating safe spaces for individuals through spiritual care, nursing research, education, and practice.
