Trailhead to Heaven
The Idyllwild Community Church is a trailhead to heaven. We welcome hikers to attend Sunday services where you can replenish your spirit. You can watch services on a large screen downstairs in the Fellowship Hall or leave your gear on the floor and join us upstairs.
Pacific Crest Trail
Idyllwild sits on the Pacific Crest Trail--a 2,653-mile trail that extends from Mexico to Canada. Long-haul hikers take 4 to 6 months to hike the entire trail. Each spring hikers use Idyllwild to buy supplies, and use our post office to send and receive mail and packages.
Local Hikers
Mount San Jacinto State Park is popular for local hikers, bikers, and runners. With 14,000 acres and over 25 outstanding trails, many make Idyllwild a weekend destination where they camp in the Idyllwild Regional Park, rent a cabin, or stay in local resorts.
