Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4).
At the beginning of each new year, we celebrate 21 days of fasting based on the experience of the prophet Daniel. Fasting is a spiritual discipline where we deliberately replace food or other daily habits with prayer and Bible study.
By temporarily giving up physical nourishment or daily distractions, we create space to find deeper spiritual nourishment and clarity in God's presence. To view a daily schedule with links to songs, click on: Prayer and Fasting Guidelines 2025.
